Aaron Judge Tops 3 Wednesday Hitters Who Could Anchor Fantasy Baseball Lineups (May 6, 2026)

If you’re looking for the best home-run props in Wednesday’s fantasy baseball slate, here are 3 hitters who should have a strong chance at going yard in a loaded schedule.

Why Aaron Judge is a Top Home Run and DFS Pick

Aaron Judge is battling with Munetaka Murakami for the AL lead in home runs, and the star slugger has been on fire lately. Judge went 1-for-3 with a double in Tuesday’s series opener against the Texas Rangers, and that means he’s hit safely in 7 of his last 9 games, a stretch in which he’s hit .406 with a red-hot 1.494 OPS and 5 homers. The power surge has been undeniable, and considering how well he’s seeing the ball of late, don’t expect that to change on Wednesday.

As if Judge’s excellent numbers weren’t enough, he also faces a favorable matchup against Nathan Eovaldi, a pitcher he’s had plenty of success against in the past. Judge has gone 12-for-37 in his career against Eovaldi, blasting 2 homers, 2 extra-base hits, and a .931 OPS.

Why You Should Believe In Kazuma Okamoto’s Recent Power Surge

It wouldn’t be a stretch to say Kazuma Okamoto has been one of the most productive hitters in the majors over the last seven days. The Japanese third baseman is tied for 10th in homers in the majors with 10 in just 35 games, and he went 2-for-4 with a solo home run in Tuesday’s 4-3 loss to the Tampa Bay Rays.

Okamoto has gone yard 5 times in his last 5 games while going 8-for-21 with 8 RBI during that stretch, and on the season, he’s slashing a robust .244/.327/.489 across 147 plate appearances. The batting average could be higher, but Okamoto is producing enough to remain a strong fantasy baseball option even if he’s not hitting for a high average.

With the way he’s been hitting the ball lately, you’d be wise to anchor your lineups with Okamoto as a key cog, especially since a 5-game HR streak still won’t be enough to make him a top-tier player (in terms of cost) in any DFS contest.

Why You Should Back Mickey Moniak at Coors Field

Speaking of hitters who have been seeing the ball extremely well of late, it’s impossible to leave Mickey Moniak out of this list. The veteran outfielder currently possesses the longest hitting streak in the majors, as he’s hit safely in 17 games in a row. He’s slashing .385/.444/.800 with a 1.244 OPS over that stretch, but he’s been more than just a consistent hitter.

The power has been there as well, as Moniak is tied for sixth in the majors in homers (10), and his 1.123 OPS would be the second-best in the majors if he had enough at-bats to qualify, something that should happen sooner rather than later. Considering that this game will take place at Coors Field, Moniak is an excellent bet to go yard again. He has launched 6 homers and has racked up 14 total extra-base hits during his hitting streak.
