Manny Machado Tops 3 Monday Fantasy Baseball Targets Who Could Anchor Winning DFS Lineups (April 27, 2026)

If you’re looking to find the best fantasy baseball advice for Monday’s eight-game slate, we’ve got you covered. Here’s a lineup to stack, a hitter to target for DFS formats, and a pitcher you could take a look at as a potential starting option regardless of the format you’re playing.

Best Lineup to Stack in Fantasy Baseball: Toronto Blue Jays

The Red Sox are among the worst teams in the majors this season, so it’s not surprising to see they fired manager Alex Cora over the weekend. They’ll look to bounce back in the series opener against Toronto on Monday, but they’ll have Ranger Suarez on the mound.

The southpaw has been searching for some consistency throughout the season, but his numbers are far from attractive since he has a 4.00 ERA, 1.15 WHIP, and 19:8 K:BB through 27 innings in five starts. Suarez has failed to pitch at least five innings in three of his five starts.

The Blue Jays are one of the best lineups in the American League, so they could take advantage of Suarez’s struggles. On a slate with not many lineups as worthwhile options to stack, the Blue Jays are certainly an option to consider.

Top DFS Hitter to Target: Manny Machado

Machado hasn’t had the best season so far in 2025, as he’s slashing .209/.327/.363 with a .690 OPS across 26 games and 110 plate appearances. However, he went 2-for-5 with two homers and five RBIs in Sunday’s 12-7 loss to the Diamondbacks, and the star third baseman has been showing signs of turning things around of late.

Machado is riding a four-game hitting streak, posting a .333 average with a 1.000 OPS over a small sample size. The boost for Machado ahead of this matchup Monday is that he’s had excellent results against Matthew Boyd in the past, hitting .385 with two extra-base hits and three RBIs across 13 at-bats against the Cubs hurler, posting an .896 OPS. Machado could be an excellent addition to your DFS lineups.

Top DFS Pitcher to Target:  Jack Kochanowicz

Kochanowicz delivered a solid outing the last time out, allowing one run on five hits and two walks while striking out one across 5.2 innings against the Blue Jays on April 21. His recent numbers have been impressive, as he has given up three or fewer earned runs in each of his last four starts, going 2-0 with a 1.80 ERA, 1.08 WHIP, and 16:12 K:BB across 25 innings over that stretch.

He has a favorable matchup against the Chicago White Sox on Monday, and if he’s able to keep it rolling, he should be in line for another strong outing. He has two quality starts over his last three appearances and will face a White Sox lineup that ranks as the seventh-worst in OPS (.688) and has racked up the fourth-most strikeouts (264) this season.
