3 Tuesday Hitters — Including Bryce Harper — Could Anchor DFS Lineups In Fantasy Baseball (May 5, 2026)

If you’re looking for the best home-run props and hitting opportunities ahead of Tuesday’s 14-game slate in fantasy baseball, here are three players who have favorable matchups. These three options could be strong options to bolster your season-long lineups, anchor a DFS lineup, or perhaps try a home-run prop bet.

Why Bryce Harper is a Top Home Run Prop Bet on Tuesday

Even though Luis Severino could be considered a solid streaming option for Tuesday’s slate based on the ongoing struggles the Phillies have had on offense, it’s worth noting that Bryce Harper might be an excellent option if you’re looking for potential home run prop bets or if you simply want to anchor a lineup in a DFS contest.

Harper’s results against Severino have been excellent throughout his career, as he’s hitting .375 with a 1.944 OPS and three homers across eight at-bats against him, but Harper has also been seeing the ball well regardless of who’s on the mound. The star slugger went 5-for-15 in the weekend series against the Miami Marlins and has hit .297 with a .954 OPS, two homers, four doubles, seven RBI, and seven runs scored over his last 10 games.

Why Jorge Soler is a Strong Addition to DFS and Fantasy Lineups

Soler is one of those players who could launch a homer every time he’s in the batter’s box, and while his strikeout tendencies are pretty high, he’s a solid alternative for HR-related prop bets due to his above-average power. That’s even better when he has a favorable matchup. Soler tends to hit quite well against Erick Fedde; he has hit .300 with a .900 OPS and one home run in 10 at-bats against him.

Soler hasn’t gone yard in his last three games, but he still has seven homers, 26 RBI, 17 runs scored, a .779 OPS, and a .222 ISO in 32 games so far this season. That ISO is his best mark since the 2023 campaign, when he was playing for the Marlins.

Why You Should Trust Dansby Swanson in Tuesday’s Fantasy Baseball Slate

Swanson might not be the best source for power, but he’s been a consistent source of production even if his average isn’t very high. The shortstop has six homers and 24 RBI on the season, good for a .730 OPS despite a .205 average, but what stands out is the matchup against Reds starter Andrew Abbott.

Swanson has hit .357 with a 1.429 OPS and two homers across 14 at-bats against Abbott, which is a pretty strong sample to make him a viable target in DFS contests. He should be available for an affordable price across all contests, and we’re placing above-average value on his head-to-head record against Abbott despite the season-long struggles.
